Altar Society

Our mission is to enhance worship at Assumption Parish by devoting our time and talent to creating an altar and sanctuary that exemplifies the glory of God. To promote friendship and fellowship among all women of the parish, regardless of age or length of time a person has been a parish member.

The Altar Society is the core group that regularly serves at funeral dinners, welcomes new babies to the parish, and works at special event planning for the parish.

The Ladies of the Altar Society also work on a number of charitable activities including organizing Thanksgiving food baskets for the needy and adopting families for support during the Christmas season.

Membership is open to all ladies of Assumption Parish.
