Reverend Don Wolf - Pastor

Fr. Don Wolf is a native of Oklahoma, being raised in Wheatland, just southwest of Oklahoma City.  He graduated from Western Heights High School and attended Oklahoma State University.  In 1975, he entered St. Meinrad College seminary, earning a BA in Philosophy in 1977.  He entered the St. Meinrad School of Theology that same year where he earned a Master's of Divinity degree in 1981. He was also ordained for the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City in 1981.  With a variety of assignments throughout Western Oklahoma Fr Wolf has been associate pastor in Guymon and Enid and pastor in Mangum, Altus, Holy Angels' Parish and Sacred Heart Parish in Oklahoma City before arriving at Assumption Parish in Duncan in 2002.

Other pastoral work included serving on the Vocations' Board for fourteen years, on the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities for eight years, three years as chairman of the board, as Spiritual Moderator of the Cursillo Movement for eleven years, service on the Archdiocesan Priests' Council and as Vicar of Hispanic Ministry for a period of four years.  He also founded, produced and hosted the weekly radio program La Voz Catolica for seven years.  Fr. Wolf served on the National Board of the National Federation of Priests' Councils from 1989 to 1995 and in 1996 was elected national president and served in that office in Chicago from 1997 to 2000.  Fr. Wolf also earned a Doctor of Ministry degree in preaching from Seabury-Western School of Theology in 2003.



Reverend Victor John Kurapati - Associate Pastor

Fr. Victor John Kurapati is a priest from India,      born in Pannur an agricultural farming village of Tamil Nadu State in Southern India.  His native   town is located at about 30 miles north-west of Chennai the capital of the State and the largest     metropolitan city in South India.  It was in      Chennai and the surrounding areas that  St. Thomas, one of the twelve apostles of Jesus, preached and eventually was put to death for the faith.

Fr. Victor joined the Minor Seminary in Nellore Diocese in A.P. State and completed his 12th grade in 1986.  He earned his degree in philosophy from St. John's Regional   Seminary at Kothavalasa in Vishakapatnam in 1989.  After one year at the Diocese of Nellore Social Service Society (DNSSS), he entered St. John's Major Seminary in Hyderabad for his Theology degree.  He earned the degree in Theology in 1994.  He      was ordained to priesthood on the 28th day of April, 1994.

The next year, he was assigned as the Vice-Rector of St. John's Minor Seminary.  Then   he worked as pastor of Assumption Parish - C.S.  Puram for 3 years and then as the   pastor of Christ the King Parish - Venkatachalam for 4 years before arriving at Duncan.  His pastoral work in India included working for the orphanage for poor children and at   the residential school for mentally retarded children.  In June 2003, he was sent by his bishop to the United States to work in the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City.  At present, he is the Associate Pastor in Duncan, Oklahoma.
